Home base

Made in Amsterdam.

Kakao is a producer from Amsterdam. One side of me lives for the groove, the other for the drop. Every track is where those two meet in the middle.

Where it started

It started with one track.

Fire Fire by Shimza, AR/CO and Kasango. I heard those drums and could not let go. Since then I mix the percussion of afrohouse with big melodic drops, somewhere between Shimza, KSHMR and a little bit of Tiësto.

The feeling

Made for golden hour.

The beach at sunset, the car with the windows down, a rooftop with the city below. That is where Kakao belongs. Keep scrolling, and watch the sun go down.
